180 Huntmar Site Alteration for Proposed Private School
The applicant is proposing to develop the site in phases with the initially phase being a two storey private school with accessory parking and playing fields. As Phase 2, a third storey addition is proposed for the school and lastly, in Phase 3, a separate medical facility is proposed.
The Zoning By-Law Amendment application was approved by City Council on June 24th, 2015. A site plan application was also submitted for the property at 180 Huntmar earlier this year and it is anticipated it will be approved in the near future.
In preparation of the development plans the landowner submitted a tree removal permit for the site which has been approved by the City. The applicant has advised that there may be a bit of activity on site between now and the New Year, however this will be very minor in nature. The main brunt of the tree removal will be started on or after the week of January 4th, 2016.
