We are always looking for more volunteers. If you are interested in being involved in the Association, helping out in Community events or have ideas how we can improve our Community, please join us at our Community meetings. You can also email us your comments or questions at email@example.com.
Bandmaster Rink is up and running for a second year. Please check the ice conditions regularly at Ottawa Rink Conditions. You can also join our Facebook group to participate in all the events and conversations.
This is an unsupervised rink, so please use it wisely and respect the any signs posted that indicates the rink status. Helmets are always highly recommended, and children should not be permitted on the ice without skates. Also note, the City provided a bench for changing our skates, unfortunately there is not enough room to leave bags and accessories to accommodate all skaters, so please make space for others once you have had you chance to change into/out of your skates. A garbage can has also been placed next to the rink, please keep the area clean.
The rink is divided into two areas, one for mostly playing hockey and another for free skating only.
If you would like to help maintain our community rink, please feel free to shovel the rink whenever needed. You can also send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to be more involved.
Enjoy the rink and have fun!
Well it’s finally here, Bandmaster has a puddle rink. After a lot of work and negotiations, the water source is now in place and functional. With help from several people in the community, the rink is starting to take shape. We do ask that the community stay off the ice until it is finally ready. We hope to have the rink opened for skating on Wednesday, February 8th. The official and Grand Opening will be February 11th, which also coincides with HOCKEY DAY in OTTAWA. Please see the event page for more details.
